Exam tablet (locked to the app)

On a freshly reset tablet with no Google account added, with USB debugging on:

adb install examate-tablet-dev.apk
adb shell dpm set-device-owner net.examate.tablet/net.examate.tablet.examsecurity.ExamDeviceAdminReceiver
  1. Open the app once. It makes itself the tablet's home screen.
  2. Restart the tablet. From then on it starts in the app, and every exam locks the tablet to it.
  3. Undoing this takes a factory reset.

Test device (not locked)

Install the APK by USB (adb install -r examate-tablet-dev.apk) or open this page on the tablet and allow installing from the browser. Exams still run, and leaving the app is detected, but nothing locks the tablet.
